inDrive and City Traffic Police Multan Collaborate to Promote Road Safety Awareness Among Drivers

In a bid to promote road safety, inDrive, the global mobility and urban services platform, partnered with the City Traffic Police Multan to host a Road Safety Awareness Event. The event hosted Mr. Sadiq Ali Dogar, DIG, City Police Officer, Multan, and Mr. Sardar Mavarhan Khan, City Traffic Officer, PSP, Multan, both of whom emphasised the life-saving importance of road safety practices.

The session aimed to educate drivers, especially bike riders, on the importance of responsible driving, helmet use, and traffic regulations. The partnership is part of inDrive’s broader goal to build a safer and more inclusive transport ecosystem across Pakistan.

“Real impact happens when industry players and institutions work together,” said Awais Saeed, Country Head, inDrive Pakistan. “We’re grateful to the City Traffic Police Multan for sharing our vision of road safety. Through our joint efforts, we hope to bring meaningful change that strengthens the overall mobility industry.”

Safety remains a core pillar of inDrive’s mission. The platform is continually evolving to provide stronger protections for both passengers and driver-partners through in-app safety tools, transparent onboarding criteria, and expedited incident resolution processes. At the same time, inDrive maintains some of the industry’s lowest commission rates, ensuring drivers can earn fairly while operating in a safer, more supportive environment.

The company’s community-led approach is also driving meaningful growth. inDrive recently reported a 4x year-on-year increase in intercity rides, with peak activity during the summer travel season, and a 57% surge in active courier partners, underscoring growing trust in the platform’s peer-to-peer model and its promise of flexibility, fairness, and economic empowerment.

Beyond numbers, inDrive’s broader mission is to empower individuals through economic opportunity and freedom of choice. By offering a low-cost entry point for drivers and a pricing model rooted in fairness and transparency, inDrive is helping micro-entrepreneurs across Pakistan earn on their own terms: whether it’s a full-time livelihood or supplementary income to support their families.
