Atlas Honda launches CG150 motorcycle, electric scooter. Check prices!
Atlas Honda has officially launched two new models — the CG150 motorcycle and its first electric scooter, Icon e. The dual launch marks the company’s first significant expansion in years and a strategic move into the electric vehicle (EV) segment.
The much-anticipated CG150 has now hit the roads following weeks of speculation. Priced at Rs459,900, the motorcycle is designed to cater to budget-conscious riders seeking a balance between performance, reliability, and classic design.
Honda CG150: Traditional meets modern
The CG150 is powered by a 150cc 4-stroke SOHC engine, featuring both kick-start and self-start options. Built for everyday use in city and semi-urban areas, the bike offers an all-forward five-speed gear transmission and improved braking through a Combined Braking System (CBS), which applies both front and rear brakes simultaneously for added safety.
The motorcycle blends retro aesthetics with modern features, including a round LED headlamp, digital-analog meter cluster, alloy wheels, and chrome detailing on the fenders, exhaust, and shocks. Its matte green fuel tank with golden badging gives the bike a premium touch.
Atlas Honda emphasized that the CG150 is not just another sticker update. With a visibly upgraded engine — similar to the one used in the CB150F, including a balancer shaft for reduced vibrations — the CG150 signals a fresh start for the company after a six-year gap in meaningful product upgrades.
In terms of market positioning, the CG150 will compete directly with Suzuki’s GS150 and Yamaha’s YBR 125 DX. While the GS150 is priced lower, the CG150 offers a range of modern enhancements aimed at a wider segment of buyers.
Honda Icon e: Stepping into electric mobility
Alongside the CG150, Atlas Honda introduced its first electric scooter, the Icon e, priced at Rs419,900. This move aligns with Pakistan’s National Electric Vehicle Policy (NEVP) and responds to the growing demand for eco-friendly transportation options.
Tailored for local roads, the Icon e represents Honda’s official entry into the EV market. The company confirmed last month that it was finalizing road tests and quality checks, while also coordinating with regulators to ensure a smooth rollout.
