easypaisa digital bank, Pakistan\u2019s leading digital bank, has entered into a strategic partnership with Transsion, one of the world\u2019s largest smartphone manufacturers, to make digital financial services more accessible for millions of Pakistanis.<\/span><\/p>\n

As part of the initiative, the easypaisa app will come pre-installed on more than five
million new smartphones across Transsion\u2019s leading brands in Pakistan, including
Infinix, TECNO, and itel, enabling users to access digital banking and financial services
from the moment they activate their devices.
As smartphone adoption continues to rise across the country, with 3G\/4G Device uptake
reaching 71.6% , both organizations aim to leverage technology to bridge gaps in
financial accessibility and drive greater participation in formal financial services. The
partnership is particularly relevant for underserved and unbanked populations, many of
whom are accessing smartphones and mobile internet for the first time.
The agreement was formally signed by Farhan Hassan, Chief Digital Officer, easypaisa
digital bank, and Michael Wang, Vice President Global Partnerships, Transsion, in the
presence of senior representatives from both organizations, in Islamabad.
Speaking on the occasion, Farhan Hassan, Chief Digital Officer, easypaisa digital bank,
